You are better off asking a veteran teacher what you really need and they should be able to point you in the right direction more quickly than trying to get through this book. This book is a little dated and not as helpful as I hoped it would be.
I need the visual part too. As an art techer there is no way I can put many of these ideas into practice.
Every art teacher should have this book. It has everything from list of famous artists, to projects, processes, art movements, and many handy things you would NEVER think of. This book is great. It was bigger than I thought it would be.
The book is well organized and very easy to read. It is full of information and ideas. I highly recommend it to any one interested in art. This is a wonderful resource. To have this kind of information all in one place is a phenomenal aid to any art teacher.
I teach art to young children and this book is a wonderful resource for me. There are lists covering everything from "100 Famous Paintings" to "Things to Do with markers". Wow. I've found lists in this book I didn't even know I needed.
